Paul Banner is the parent of a Loyola grad who is “semi-retired” and working “full time” in his third career in project management with a mechanical contractor in southwest Michigan.

Lisa Bigelow has finally achieved the 3-day weekend and 6-hour workday by subbing for the Chicago Public Schools. Among her other pursuits are writing, making art, and practicing Frisbee. In spite of her underlying suspicion and resentment of computers, she is the web designer and editor of On a Whim. She encourages anyone and everyone to participate in this project.

Joe Chellman is a restless soul who can’t make up his mind. He’s a drummer and web developer, amateur photographer, enthusiastic cook, voracious reader, and occasional basketball player, in addition to hosting and providing tech support for On a Whim. He grew up in New Hampshire, where there are towns with more critters than people. Sometimes Joe feels like those towns.

Daisy Church is the quintessential LA girl — she’s blonde, she’s surfed, and says “like” probably way too much. She’s currently in school at the University of Southern California studying animation. She aspires to draw pretty things for movies one day, and to live happily ever after.

Tala Rassool is a nursing student in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Her off-beat sense of humor and flights of fancy have kept many a person wondering just what she’s really thinking behind those rapidly blinking eyes.

Erin Rhodes is a professional actor and freelance writer. Her current project is Tony and Tina’s Wedding, the improvisational dinner-theater comedy, in which she again must kiss a man considerably older than herself. Erin performed in Freesias in Whiskey and Pittsburgh Public Theatre's production of Romeo and Juliet during 2001, and she regularly conducts interviews for Pittsburgh City Paper. Erin is the companion of a handsome green teddy bear named Victor.
