Liana’s Gallery of the Magnificent

Installment I

Liana has been doing photography for a good many years (as the dates in some of the pictures prove), and she sent me quite a number of photos — so many that I decided to put them up in two installments. This is the first.

Most of the animal pictures Liana took at an attraction called Safari World, in Thailand. The way she describes it, you drive in through the gate and then that’s it — no fences between your car and the animals. All the Safari World pictures here were taken from the car window, with no zoom lens. Only "dangerous animals" — cheetahs and crocodiles, for instance — have an extra layer of glass between them and the tourists. Liana broke the rules and opened her window to take these pictures and bring Safari World right to your computer screen.
