Righteous Alarm Clock
A journey I began, my soul at stake,
and extra care I did take
sleeping men to not wake.
I can see now from farther down the line
that although my aim was fine
there lay a flaw in my design.
When on every wind wickedness does fly
we cannot let the sleepers lie.
We must be bright as sun in morning sky.
We must be raucous, obnoxious, loud.
Continued sleep be disallowed.
To be right we should be proud.
We must be loud and bang the gongs,
chant the chants, and sing the songs.
For sleeping men right no wrongs.
While they sleep there can only be
one eventuality:
Everything will remain just how it be.
